Our minds make us make some bad decisions and get us into bad habits that hurt us and our health. Imagine you had a bad day at work and wanted to relax and unwind during your free time. People like to do things like drink, hang out with friends, work out, and so on.
One important thing that most people don’t think about is taking a minute or two every day to think deeply about a problem, come up with your own solution, and write it down in a journal.
You might think, “Well, how is that going to help?” I can only say, “Try it.” It works, or at least helps you figure out what’s going on. We think about too many things, from small things to things that could end the world.
